Brazil’s Neymar breaks record in win over Bolivian Team by becoming the all-time male top scorer with two goals in a 5-1 win match with the Bolivian team.
In the World Cup qualifying match, the 31-year-old forward entered the game with a shared record of 77 goals, tied with the legendary Pele. However, his performance was a rollercoaster ride. He initially missed a penalty but then went on to redeem himself with two goals in the second half, all in his 125th appearance for the team.
After breaking the record in an answer to a question he said “I never imagined reaching this record. I’m no better than Pele or any other player for the national team“
The football coach of Brazil came forward and applauded Neymar for his success, and achievement and for breaking the record by saying “He came to do what he did: have fun, score two goals, and break the record.”
