Ben Stokes undergoes surgery on troublesome knee
England Test Cricket Captain Ben Stokes undergoes surgery on having a troublesome knee injury ahead of five-test match series in India.
Ben has had surgery on his injured left knee which remained successful and now he will begin a rehabilitation process in the hopes of being ready for England’s next test match in just over two months.
Ben reports to his fans about his surgery by tweeting that the surgery has been done under the knife and that rehabilitation starts now.
Ben missed the final three Ashes tests due to his persistent injury. Three Ashes refers to a test series played between England and Australia. However, he was named a specialist batter for England’s doomed World Cup championship defense in India.
He announced earlier this month that he planned to get surgery after the World Cup to get back to doing what he is known for. And perform as a full-fledged all-rounder.

Ben announced last week that he will not play in the Indian Premier League next season to manage his workload and fitness. A few days later, the Indian league Chennai Super Kings dismissed him.
Ben Stokes is a 32-year-old England Cricketer with the nationality of Britain, America, and New Zealand. He played for the England Cricket Team in One Day Internationals and T-20s.
