Babar Azam got luxury MG car for his outstanding performance in PSL 2024
Captain of Peshawar Zalmi, Babar Azam got a luxury MG car from franchise owner Javed Afridi for outstanding performance in PSL 2024. Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi gifted this car to Babar in appreciation of his exceptional performance during PSL season 9.
Javed Afridi posted a picture of himself and Babbar sitting in his car on social media. It came after Babar Azam scored five 50s and a hundred with 569 runs at an average of 56.90 in 11 innings. It made him the top scorer of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9.
Peshawar Zalmi was the overwhelming favorite to win the season 9 championship title but failed in their two elimination matches against Islamabad United and Multan Sultans respectively. However, Peshawar Zalmi Captain, Babar Azam got a luxury British brand, MG or Morris Garages car.
It is significant to note that Babar Azam is leading recently the Pakistan Men’s Cricket Team as captain in the five-match Twenty20 International series against New Zealand.
This series is tied at 1-1 with two games left at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Pakistan lost by seven wickets in the third Twenty20 International. However, Babar Azam overtook Aaron Finch as the top run scorer, making 2246 runs in 67 innings.

Australian cricketer Aaron Finch scored 2236 runs in 76 innings. However, New Zealand Captain Kane Williamson scored 2125 runs in 71 innings. Babar Azam, Aaron Finch, and Kane Williamson are among the top captains who made the most runs in the T20 International format.
Babar Azam leads Pakistan in this format by scoring the most runs. He has made 3749 runs in 105 innings with the help of 33 fifty-score runs and three hundreds.
Before Babar Azam, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) terminated bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi for five New Zealand series.
