Samsung may introduce its stunning AI-powered live translate tool for WhatsApp calls into Galaxy S24 models. This move aims to boost the smartphone capabilities of Galaxy S24 phones, which were released last year.

The company launched the Galaxy S24 series on a device AI suite called Galaxy AI feature (intelligence technologies). It was built on Google’s Gemini basic models which feature new generative AI-powered text, image, and video editing tools.

One of its most incredible features was the Live Translate tool, which enabled instant translation between multiple languages. This feature was designed specifically for Samsung applications and devices. However, support for third-party applications has always been in the works.

Regarding the recent development, it appears that WhatsApp is the first third-party software to include this capability. According to a recent leak, Samsung plans to integrate an artificial intelligence-powered Live Translation tool into WhatsApp for its Galaxy S24 models.

A tipster Ice Universe stated Galaxy AI will power WhatsApp real-time translation on Twitter X. This means Samsung Galaxy users can translate calls during WhatsApp in real-time with the new advanced feature.

However, it is unknown when Samsung may introduce an AI-powered live translate tool to WhatsApp. Its announcement may come during Samsung’s next Galaxy event on July 10. The live translation tool feature may come with the next version of Samsung UI (User Interface).

Previously, the company hinted that other applications would acquire Live Translate capabilities, but did not specify any particular apps. There are also speculations that Samsung may add the live translation feature to other apps, such as Google Meet.

On the other hand, South Korean tech giant Samsung will unveil its next-generation foldable phones at a July 10 event. Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip6 are among those phones.
