Japan man and entrepreneur, Daisuke Hori slept only 30 minutes a day for the past 12 years to boost his work efficiency. Daisuke is a 40-year-old entrepreneur from western Japan’s Hyogo prefecture.

He claimed to train his body and mind to operate well on little sleep of only 30 minutes unexpectedly. He is an entrepreneur who enjoys painting, music, and mechanical design.

Hence, he started working with his less sleep schedule 12 years ago to add more activities to his day. He eventually slept for only thirty minutes to forty minutes a day.

Daisuke stated in an interview that people who need sustained focus in their work benefit more from high-quality sleep than long sleep. For example, firefighters and physicians relax less yet still work efficiently.

He emphasized that you can avoid tiredness if you exercise enough or drink coffee an hour before eating. However, Japanese TV channel Yomiuri called him on a reality show “Will You Go With Me.” It aimed to investigate his claims.

Daisuke was shown sleeping for a little 26 minutes in the show. Afterward. he woke up with a strong energy and even worked out at the gym.

However, his unusual sleeping routine has gained widespread attention in the world. He claimed to have taught 2,100 students how to become “ultra-short sleepers” on his internet resume.

After working with Daisuke, one of his students informed Yomiuri TV she was successfully able to cut down her sleep from eight hours to just ninety minutes.

However, there is disagreement over whether this approach is best for everyone. But, the claim that a man from Japan slept only 30 minutes for the past 12 years has shocked people living in different parts of the world.

His way of living undoubtedly challenged conventional wisdom on the value of taking a full night’s sleep of eight hours.
