Huawei to be the first company to release a tri-fold smartphone

Huawei is about to become the first company to release a tri-fold smartphone which will be a big breakthrough in the tech industry. It reportedly plans to release the first tri-folding company with dual hinges in history.

According to media reports, the early version of the Huawei trifold smartphone is finished and mass production is scheduled to start in late 2024. It will also reportedly use advanced AI technology which will increase its value.

Huawei has a history of success in the foldable smartphone industry. It topped Samsung and became the top seller with a 35 percent market share.

However, access to American technology is restricted, which limits Huawei’s appeal outside of China and undermines its foreign sales.

The upcoming trifold smartphone will fold like into the shape of a “Z”. One great thing about this smartphone is that the screen linked to the second hinge can fold outward.

This lets you use the third part of the screen as a full-featured display when the device folds. Flip-style folding devices also have an outside screen, but cameras on the back can make the screen difficult to see.

On the other end, Apple will also expectedly unveil its first foldable iPhone possibly as early as 2026. It is currently in talks with Asian sellers to develop parts for this new smartphone.
