Suicide blast in Dera Ismail Khan martyred soldiers
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a suicide blast targeting a security forces convoy in Dera Ismail Khan has martyred two soldiers. ISPR is the media branch of Pakistan’s military.
ISPR released a statement about the terror attack in Dera Ismail Khan specifically targeting soldiers of the Pakistan Army. According to this statement, a suicide bomber in a vehicle blew himself up on the convoy of security forces.
Two brave soldiers named Subedar Yasir Shakeel (38 years old) and Sepoy Tahir Naveed (34 years old) have embraced martyrdom due to a suicide blast in Dera Ismail Khan. Subedar Yasir and Sepoy Tahir hailed from the district of Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
ISPR stated the security forces of Pakistan have a strong determination to eliminate the threat of terrorism. Hence, the sacrifices of their brave soldiers enhance their determination. Moreover, the perpetrators of this cowardly attack will be brought to justice.
Meanwhile, security forces launched an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Panjgur area of Balochistan yesterday to eliminate terrorists from the territory. It resulted in the death of one terrorist and two injured terrorists.
This operation occurred on the night of March 20 and continued till March 21. The security forces effectively seized terrorists’ occupied area of Panjgur during IBO. They killed militant Chakar Liaquat.
They also seized guns and weaponry from the assassinated terrorist whom ISPR claimed to be actively involved in numerous terrorist activities.

In a separate incident, two military soldiers accepted martyrdom during a gunfight exchange in the Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to ISPR, a firefight occurred between security personnel and terrorists. Army units effectively targeted the location of terrorists resulting in the successful elimination of two terrorists.
The assassinated terrorists were Aftab alias Malang and Masood Shah. Both these terrorists had involvement in various terrorist activities against Pakistani security forces and innocent civilians.
