Sindh Governor distributed laptops to students under the IT Program
Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori distributed laptops to students earning over $300 under the IT Program initiative. He gave the latest laptops to students during a ceremony held in Karachi.
Kamran also led a tour of the IT Program cell of Sindh Governor at the ceremony. He showed systematic operations of the IT cell to well-renowned visitors, including Dr. Zafar Iqbal. Zafar Iqbal is the General Secretary of JDC (Jafriya Disaster Management Cell Welfare Organization).
Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori distributed laptops to students earning more than 200 to 300 dollars to strengthen their economic condition. He said it was good to see that IT students have begun earning as it helps improve their financial situation and ultimately will boost the national economy.
Meanwhile, Kamran Tessori also announced the starting of free IT online classes in Karachi from next week. It will benefit about 450,000 students in the tech field under Sindh Governor’s IT Program.
Kamran Tessori launched a comprehensive IT program in Hyderabad on March 28, 2024. About 50,000 young students will be able to get free training for IT courses, including Artificial Intelligence, in its first phase.
How to apply for the IT Program of Sindh Governor
- Register through the official website. You will get an email about the test date.
- After passing the test, the entire course program will be available on the relevant website.
At first, Kamran Tessori launched the IT Program for Hyderabad students. He said they would gradually extend it to other parts of Sindh so that other students in Sindh would benefit from free IT courses.
Kamran said he initiated this program with a budget of PKR 50 crore without support from the Sindh government. He aims to empower Sindh youngsters in the tech field.
The IT Program of the Sindh Governor will train youth with the help of IT professionals who will facilitate them in their journey through IT courses.
