North Waziristan terror attack martyred 7 Pakistan army officials
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said at least 7 Pakistan Army officers have been martyred in a terror attack in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan. According to ISPR, six terrorists attacked a security post early this morning.
Responding to the attack, army soldiers gave their lives bravely in battle with terrorists who attacked a security post in the Mir Ali. Army soldiers stopped their first attempt to break in. However, they hit an explosives-filled vehicle in the post and carried out several suicide bombings.
It caused a part of the building to collapse and killed several brave soldiers. ISPR revealed that 7 Pakistan Army officers have been martyred including a lieutenant colonel and a captain in North Waziristan terror attack.
According to the ISPR statement, troops led by Lieutenant Colonel Kashif effectively fought back terrorists during the conduct of clearance operations. He successfully sent all six terrorists to hell.
The martyrdom includes Havildar Sabir (District Khyber), Naik Khurshid (District Lakki Marwat), and Sepoy Nasir (District Peshawar). Sepoy Raja (District Kohat) and Sepoy Sajjad (District Abbottabad) are among the others.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Colonel Syed Kashif, leading his forces from the front, and Captain Muhammad Ahmed Badar made the ultimate sacrifice. They embraced martyrdom during a fierce exchange of fire with the terrorists.
Lieutenant Colonel Ali was from Karachi and Captain Muhammad Ahmed was from District Talagang. ISPR stated their army officers conducted a cleaning operation to remove any other terrorists present in the area.
Moreover, security forces have a strong determination to wipe out the risk of terrorism from the country. The sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
At the beginning of 2024, terrorists also embraced martyrdom in January during an exchange of fire with terrorists in North Waziristan. A troop named Havildar Muhammad Zahir fought bravely and embraced martyrdom. He was a resident of district Mardan.
