Kot Addu man raped minor boy while sitting in Aitkaf
A 28-year-old man raped a 13-year-old minor boy while the accused and victim were sitting in Aitkaf in Kot Addu, Muzzafargarh district, Punjab. The tragic and bizarre incident occurred last night at the mosque in Sanawan Bukhi Chowk, Kot Addu.
The victim told police that the accused transported him to a separate location and sexually abused him. The suspect covered his mouth to prevent him from calling for help during the assault. The youngster had been sent to hospital for medical examination.
The father of the victim boy filed a complaint to police which initiated legal proceedings against the suspect. In his statement, the father revealed the mosque’s imam informed him about the incident.
Imam also told the victim’s father that the suspect raped his son in the bathroom. Meanwhile, the Muzaffargarh district police have begun an investigation against the suspected Kot Addu man who raped a minor boy. Police have also arrested the suspect.
At first, the suspect managed to escape while the mosque imam said the suspect was threatening him with serious consequences in case of revealing the truth.
Initially, it was not clear whether the police had arrested the suspect or not. Meanwhile, the National Commission on the Rights of Child (NCRC) informed about it.

NCRC provided a report on this incident and wrote taking notice of the case, they followed up with Muzafargarh Police who informed them about the suspect’s arrest.
The Commission also stated it would ensure that justice prevails and culprit held accountable. However, authorities have not revealed the identity of the suspect and victim due to the sensitivity of this issue.
In a separate incident, Kot Addu Saddar police filed a rape case against a false-diploma-holder doctor last month. The fake doctor reportedly raped a nine-year-old girl in Taunsa Mor.
A few days earlier, police arrested a seminary teacher (Qari) and his wife for repeatedly raping and abusing a young girl in Madina Town, Faisalabad.
