Famous TV anchor Ayesha Jahanzeb brutally tortured by her husband

Famous news TV anchor Ayesha Jahanzeb was brutally and allegedly tortured by her husband, Haris Ali. This shocking news emerged as Ayesha filed an FIR (First Information Report) against Haris on July 8, 2024.

She claimed in FIR that her husband subjected her to severe domestic abuse when he returned home from work at their Sarwar Road Lahore home. Haris suddenly began shouting and cursing at her.

Afterward, he brutally attacked her face and other body parts with punches and kicks. As a result, she received severe injuries on her body.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has taken notice of domestic violence against Ayesha. She urged relevant authorities to arrest Haris as soon as possible.

According to FIR, Hairs also pulled out his revolver in the middle of this torture session. He put it to her head and threatened to kill her. However, Ayesha did not reveal the cause of the fight in the FIR.

Her complaints were limited to the abusive and aggressive behavior of Haris. Ayesha also claimed that Haris had tortured her a few weeks back as he used to fight with her usually at home.

Another famous TV anchor, Maria Memon, also condemned that Haris brutally tortured Ayesha Jahanzeb. She expressed solidarity with the victim anchor, stating she looked visibly disturbed. According to Maria, a man is weak and cowardly as he beats his wife, especially when she is the mother of his children.

Ayesha claimed her two daughters were also present during the torture and made an unsuccessful attempt to save her from Haris. Following this, the driver and electrician arrived to save her from Haris.

Haris at first escaped home, but police have arrested him and are investigating this matter. It is significant to note that Haris is the second husband of Ayesha, who married in 2015.

She had previously wed Jahanzeb, who passed away at a young age. After Jahanzeb’s death, the mother of Ayesha forced her to marry Haris. This way, Haris entered her life, and domestic fights started soon after their marriage. Ayesha also alleged Haris had another secret marriage.
