Another British board NCC allowed to operate in Pakistan
Another British board NCC has been allowed to operate in Pakistan in addition to four existing UK education boards. Edexcel (Pearson), Oxford AQA, Learning Resource Network, and Cambridge are already functioning in Pakistan.
The Inter Board Coordination Commission Pakistan (IBCC) and NCC Education UK in Manchester have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
This agreement aims to support Pakistani education regulatory frameworks and strategic goals through NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies.
It will also improve the skills and knowledge of local students and offer technical assistance. It will also make improvised expert consultations to support the initiatives of Pakistani regulatory authorities.
These initiatives include training for delegations from local educational boards operating in Pakistan to raise the quality standards of local boards and adopt best practices in educational methodologies and regulatory frameworks.
Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah, Executive Director of IBCC Pakistan, called the agreement “crucial” under which another British board NCC allowed to operate in the country.
He said this memorandum represents a significant point for Pakistan’s educational landscape. They are providing their students access to a top-level education and global exposure by collaborating with NCC Education.
