American singer Taylor Swift becomes the first artist in history to win Album of the Year 2024 at Grammys four times. This is the first time in Grammy’s history that someone has won Album of the Year four times.
Canadian singer Celine Dion made a surprise cameo at the Grammy 2024 ceremony at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. She presented the trophy of Album of the Year to Taylor Swift.
The US megastar Taylor has earned the top Grammy award for her tenth studio album “Midnights.” Taylor accepted the award from Celine and made a surprising remark, “Oh God, no. I don’t know. man.”
Taylor stated that she wanted to tell you this was the happiest moment in her life. She feels joy when she finishes a song and cracks the code to a bridge. She adores it when she shoots a music video, rehearses with her dancers, and gets ready to travel to Tokyo to perform at a show.
Taylor also said that this award was the outcome of her work. She wants to keep doing work for music albums. It pleases her. It amazes her that some people who voted for this award are also happy. She thanked everyone for this award for doing what she loves so much at the end of the speech.
Furthermore, she described her friend and long-time partner Jack Antonoff as a “once in a generation producer” and fellow candidate Lana Del Rey as a “legacy artist” and legend in her prime.
Earlier, she won the same award for her music album Fearless in 2009, 1989 six years later in 2015, and Folklore in 2020. Following these awards, Taylor Swift becomes the first artist to win four Grammy awards for Album of the Year. She also announced her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” while accepting her 13th Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Performance.
