Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly denied woman's gangrape allegation

Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly denied the woman’s gangrape allegation and vowed to go to any extent to prove his innocence. His denial came after Oonnukal police registered a rape case against him on the complaint of a woman on Sep 3, 2024, in Ernakulam district.

The accuser woman claimed in her complaint that Nivin cheated her while giving her a promise of a chance to work in films. She also claimed a group of six persons, including Nivin gang raped her.

According to the complainant, the six accused suspects raped her in Dubai. They locked her in the room and subjected her to sexual abuse for three consecutive days.

They did not even provide her food or water during captivity and whenever they gave her water it was intoxicated with drugs. She fell unconscious by drinking this water and six suspects gang raped her.

The complainant woman also mentioned she could not provide any proof of this incident because the accused snatched her cellphone. Nivin is the sixth accused rapist in her complaint.

However, Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly denied the woman’s gangrape allegation. He said he didn’t know who the complainant woman was. He had never seen her or spoken to her. This is baseless news. Hence, he would go to any extent to prove the rape charges against him wrong.

Apart from Nivin, the complainant woman has accused Kottayam native Shreya, producer AK Sunil, and Ernakulam residents Binu, Basheer, and Kuttan of sexual assault. She said the accused also threatened her and her family not to reveal this incident to anyone.

It is significant to note that this complaint came after the publication of the Hema Committee report on August 19, 2024. This report mentions massive cases of sexual abuse and rape against women by Malayalam industry filmmakers and actors.
