Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck after 2 years marriage

American actress and singer Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from actor Ben Affleck after their two years of marriage. The couple rekindled their relationship two decades earlier and became married in July 2022 in Las Vegas.

Jennifer and Ben started dating in the early 2000s and hence have served a long-term relationship which is about to end in a tragic turn. Their fans used to call the couple “Bennifer.”

Jennifer stated love is beautiful and compassionate. It appears love is tolerant and twenty years patient. She remarked it while signing off as Jennifer Lynn Affleck; while announcing their first quickly planned Las Vegas marriage.

However, their life has now taken a turn with divorce filing. There were already rumors that they had been living apart. It started when a couple sold their house in Beverly Hills and Jennifer published it for sale on her website that she was heartsick and devastated and canceled the summer tour to spend time with her family.

Jennifer stated she assured she would not take this action if it were not absolutely essential. She also urged her followers to believe she and Ben would be together again.

Moreover, there are rumors that Jennifer filed for divorce after expressing exhaustion from trying hard in their relationship. She tried really hard and wanted to end this relationship as she was heartbroken.

Jennifer also reportedly claimed her kids have always been her priority. She is the mother of 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with her third husband Marc Anthony. Ben is the fourth husband of Jennifer.

However, Ben is father to Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12 with his first wife Jennifer Garner. Ben is 52 years old while Jennifer is 55 years old.

According to media reports, Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck in Los Angeles County Superior Court on August 20, 2024. It is the listed official separation date.
