The Avengers actress Gwyneth Paltrow quits acting after her daughter Apple was born as she didn’t want to be away from her daughter for months.

Gwyneth is an Oscar winner who at the height of her fame had decided to step away from her wonderful Hollywood career. She revealed the reason for her quitting to famous People magazine. She explained how motherhood impacted her career.

What did Gwyneth tell People Magazine?

Gwyneth told People that it is kind of ironic because I really stepped away from acting when Apple was born. I was pregnant with her the last time I was in every scene of a movie.

The former actress continued saying when I met her (Apple), everything changed for me. She revealed when she had her, everything felt redefined for her. She wondered if she really wanted to do this as a career. She certainly doesn’t want to. She is not going to disappear for months.

Gwyneth is the mother of 19-year-old Apple and 17-year-old Moss with her ex-husband Chris Martin. As well as she is also a stepmother to her husband Brad Falchuk’s two children Bordy who is 17 years old and Isabella 19-year-old.

She now manages the successful wellness business Goop. She has appeared in a few films throughout the years including numerous Marvel “Avengers ” blockbusters.

Gwyneth said it is great having a daughter that age. Especially since she is into clothes and skin and all that sort of thing. She is more feminine than I am. She is an expert at makeup expert and enjoys doing it. It is amazing because she is tuned into the cool stuff rather than the trashy, gloomy side of our culture.

Gwyneth Paltrow started her acting debut in 1989 and quit her acting career in 2007. She received various awards including an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award.
