Drake Bell accused dialogue coach of sexually abusing him

American actor and musician Drake Bell accused his dialogue coach Brian Peck of sexually abusing him when he was 15 years old. Drake discussed how Brian mistreated him at the age of fifteen years.

Investigation Discovery posted a clip from its series Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV on YouTube. Drake Bell accused his dialogue coach of sexual abuse on a public platform for the first time.

Brian was a dialogue coach for Nickelodeon’s All That and The Amanda Show. Drake starred on the Amanda Show from 1999 to 2004. Drake alleged Brian sexually abused him during this time.

Afterward, Drake created a teen comedy series Drake & Josh for Nickelodeon in 2004. The show features two teenage stepbrothers, Drake Parker (Drake Bell) and Josh Nichols (Josh Peck) who live together despite their opposing personalities.

The accusations of Drake against Brian seemed true following his historical record. Brian was also arrested in Aug 2003 on eleven charges coming from claims of sexual abuse against a kid.

The following year, in May, he pled no guilty to his ridiculous actions. Hence, he received a 16-month prison sentence and was registered as a sex offender.

However, Nickeldeon’s television producer and screenwriter, Dan Schneider faced extreme criticism for offensive acts of Brian. According to media reports, former child performers and crew members said Dan created an uncomfortable environment on the Nickelodeon site. Following the widespread criticism, Dan parted ways with Nickelodeon in 2018.

Drake Bell is well-known for the Nickelodeon series Drake & Josh. The series co-stars Nancy Sullivan, Jonathan Goldstein, and Miranda Cosgrove in the series. The series aired 56 episodes through four seasons from 2004 to 2007.

Surprisingly, Drake also faced a jail sentence of two years on child abuse charges and 200 hours of community service for his behavior with a young child over several years. The victim said Drake started talking via online chats with her when she was 12. When she turned 15, Drake’s talk turned blatantly sexual.
