Actors Arjun Ashokan and Mathew Thomas injured at film shooting

Indian actors Arjun Ashokan, Mathew Thomas, and Sangeeth Prathap were injured in a car accident during the Malayalam film “Bromance” shooting. This sad car accident happened after it collided with two motorcycles.

This accident happened on the M.G. Road set of Bromance at 1:30 a.m. on July 16, 2024. However, a car crashed with two bikes and overturned while they were filming a chase scene for their movie.

The actors were inside the stunt master’s car when it overturned, striking two bikes parked on the street. The car lost control and collided with another vehicle.

Following this, the injured actors were taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Five people got injured including actors Arjun Ashokan, Mathew Thomas, and Sangeeth Prathap in an unexpected turn of events. The other two were bikers who also sustained injuries.

Doctors revealed the injured actors sustained minor injuries. The car sustained severe damage. However, it luckily did not seriously hurt the actors.

Law enforcement officials removed all vehicles from the scene and suspended the film shooting after this accident. They filed a case against the driver for reckless driving.

It is believed that the shooting was conducted without safety procedures. However, Bromance is an upcoming Malayalam film. Arun Jose and Jo & Jo directed this film.

Ashiq Usman under Ashiq Usman Productions produced this film. The filmmakers recently performed a unique pooja in Kakkanad for the film Bromance.

According to several media reports, Bromance is a comedy movie. Apart from injured actors, Mahima Nambiar, Kalabhavan Shajohan, and Binu Pappu are also part of this film cast.

Moreover, ADJ, Raveesh Nath, and Thomas P Sebastian have written the screenplay for Bromance. However, Govind Vasantha composed music for this film.
