Actor Steve Buscemi attacked & injured after being punched in face

Famous American actor Steve Buscemi was attacked and injured after being punched in the face in New York City. He became the latest victim of a random attack while walking through New York street on May 8, 2024.

The spokesperson of Steve Buscemi revealed it while talking to American media. He said Mr. Steve was fine and appreciated the well-wishes of everyone. However, this sadly happened to many people while walking in New York.

Steve is a resident of midtown Manhattan, where the culprit attacked him. Afterward, he moved to Bellevue Hospital hospital with his left eye bruised, swollen, and bleeding. However, the person who attacked him escaped and police failed to arrest him yet.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) is investigating this matter and looking for the suspect who attacked actor Steve Buscemi. They released surveillance video that showed a suspected man wearing a baseball cap, a blue t-shirt, black sweatpants, and white sneakers.

A worker in the Manhattan area told media that he saw Steve with a woman and then he saw him slip and fall backward through the corner of the window. He got up and ran the other way that very moment. Hence, he could not tell who hit him (actor).

Steve Buscemi was born in Brooklyn. He is a well-known and liked figure in New York. Steve used to be a firefighter in New York and helped his fire rescue team at Ground Zero during the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center.

He is also a famous actor for his roles in Boardwalk Empire, The Sopranos, and Fargo. Michael Stuhlbarg is his co-star in the series “Broadwalk Empire.” Before Steve, Michael also fell victim to a random attack in Central Park in Manhattan on March 31, 2024.

A culprit attacked Michael in the back of his neck with a rock. However, Steve caught him by chasing him down outside the park. The random attacks on renowned figures have risen over the past months. The most recent attack on Steve has upset netizens on social media.
