PCB purchased multi-storied building near Gaddafi Stadium
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has purchased a multi-storied building near Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The multi-story building is likely to undergo renovations. PCB intends to convert it into a seven-star hotel.
The planned seven-star hotel will cater to both both local and foreign guests. PCB purchased this multi-storied building to resolve accommodation issues for foreign players and the visiting teams.
This development came after the problem of housing International players and teams during the Pakistan Super League (PSL). They have recently stayed in local five-star hotels in Pakistan.
The newly acquired building will save time due to not facing traffic problems while teams travel from their hotels to the stadium.
In addition, three significant stadiums, including the Gaddafi Stadium are going through renovation by PCB in preparation for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. It is going to happen in Pakistan.

According to Mohsin Naqvi, three major stadiums in Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi will be renovated before the Champions Trophy. After the completion of the renovation of these three stadiums, they will renovate the remaining venues.
Mohsin Naqvi stated their renovated stadiums will be state-of-the-art upon completion. However, representatives from NESPAK (National Engineering Services of Pakistan) gave the chairman the idea to renovate three significant stadiums.
According to a press release from PCB, Mohsin Naqvi also instructed officials about his plans to improve the view for fans from every seat in the stadium. In addition, he emphasized the significance of renovating the hospitability boxes at all three stadiums.
Moreover, the Chairman directed the NESPAK officials to begin stadium work immediately keeping in mind a strict timely deadline before hosting the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
