Indian designer Rohit Bal is on a ventilator after a heart attack

Famous Indian designer Rohit Bal is on a ventilator at Medanta Hospital after following a heart attack and cardiac complications. He has multiple severe diseases including diabetes and kidney failure.

Rohit had a major heart attack in 2010 before his recent heart failure. Following complications from a pre-existing heart disease, ace designer Rohit is in critical condition.

The health of Rohit has deteriorated due to a pre-existing cardiac condition. He underwent an angioplasty following a major heart attack in 2010. He is already suffering from pancreatitis which further worsened his health condition.

An Indian model Suraj Dhalia took Rohit to the hospital when he was unconscious as his heart was sinking. The medical attendants gave him seven pacemaker shocks. The pacemaker sends electrical pulses to help beat a human irregular heart at a normal rate and rhythm.

Earlier, Rohit was shifted to Moolchand Hospital in New Delhi but as his condition worsened he was taken to Medanta Hospital. Rohit has been to the hospital several times in the last few months due to major health concerns.

According to several different media reports, he was admitted to the Medanta Hospital in critical condition in November 2022. In addition, the designer has apparently been in and out of rehabilitation centers and hospitals due to alcoholism.

Rohit Bal is a well-known designer who caters to fashion designs for both women and men. He began his career in 1986 with the foundation of Orchid Oversea Pvt. Ltd with his brother. Later on, he debuted his independent collection in 1990. He has won IFA Designer of the Year in 2001 and 2004.
