A Light plane crash at Palgrave Road, southwest of Warwick after midday on Thursday in the southern downs of Queensland region.

The crash happened at the property on Palgrave Road at Palgrave. Authorities present at the aviation incident area reported the news of a grassfire.

A spokesperson of Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) told the media that the plane crashed into a paddock which sparked a grass fire.

Emergency services have rushed to the place of the incident of light plane crash in Queensland. Queensland police received the news of a plane accident at 12:13 p.m. Soon, they reached Palgrave Road to attend an aviation incident.

Paramedics made their way to the accident and they attended the light plane crash off Palgrave Road at 12:16 p.m.

The services of RACQ (Royal Automobile Club of Queensland) have been taken to prevent the fire blaze. RACQ Lifeflight rescue helicopter is serving the task at Palgrave Road.

ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) reports there was only one person present in the aircraft on behalf of Queensland Ambulance Service’s spokesperson.

According to initial reports, Queensland Police confirmed that the pilot of the aircraft did not survive the crash. They also believe there was no one else on the board at the time of the crash.

Police officers from the Forensic crash unit are investigating the wreckage at the scene of the crash point in southern Queensland.
