CSS aspirant arrested for selling drugs to students in Islamabad

Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested a CSS aspirant for selling drugs to students at educational institutions and hotels. The arrested person was preparing for the Civil Superior Services (CSS) exam.

He is facing charges of supplying drugs to students. According to media reports, his arrest happened during a raid close to a private student hostel in Islamabad.

The suspect is a highly educated man from Chagai whom ANF found in possession of 120 grams of an expensive and hazardous drug.

He targeted students in prominent educational institutions and hostels in Islamabad for supplying drugs despite preparing for his own CSS exam.

The accused confessed to supplying drugs to university students and those living in hostels during the first round of interrogation.

ANF has filed a case against a CSS aspirant under the Narcotics Control Act after they arrested him. It is conducting more investigations into this matter.

The continuous operations of ANF against drug trafficking across Pakistan have resulted in the recovery of 234-kilogram drugs valued at over 20 million rupees in four different operations. It led to the arrest of five people in addition to the detention of a CSS aspirant.

ANF seized drugs worth PKR 20 million last week. According to an ANF spokesperson, they are conducting anti-drug smuggling operations countrywide.

They seized 123.6 kilograms of opium and 108 kilograms of hashish from a vehicle and arrested two suspects in these operations. It happened on the M1 Motorway in Islamabad.

ANF recovered 1.5 kilograms of heroin from a woman at Kamalpur Interchange in Faisalabad. Similarly, 400 grams of ice (crystal meth) from a male suspect near Hub River Road Karachi.

Moreover, ANF seized 200 grams of hashish from a suspect near the University of Karachi. They have filed cases against all these suspects and initiated an investigation.
