American golf player Nelly Korda withdrew from an upcoming Ladies European Tour golf tournament after being bitten by a dog. A dog bit her in Seattle, the largest city in Washington state.

Nelly is a top-ranked golfer who announced she will not participate in the Aramco Team Series event at the Centurion Club. It is located close to Hemel Hempstead on the outside of London.

The Aramco Team Series is part of the Ladies European Tour (LET) 2024. It will take place next week. Nelly conveyed the message of her absence from this tour on her Instagram story.

Nelly stated she regrets to announce she must withdraw from the LET event in London next week. This is because a dog bit her last week in Seattle. Hence, she needs time to heal completely from the dog bite and receive medical treatment.

Hence, Nelly Korda apologized to her fans and sponsors as she withdrew from a Lady’s European tour (LET). She stated she would appreciate their understanding. She hopes to rejoin the course soon.

Nelly did not reveal the exact location of the dog bite incident. However, she also missed her third consecutive spot at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in Sammamish, Washington, the previous week.
