Sachin Tendulkar’s guard committed suicide in Maharashtra
Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s security guard, Prakash Kapde allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself in Maharashtra. Prakash was a member of the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) who was in charge of protecting Sachin.
Unfortunately, he shot himself with his service gun in his neck in Jamner town in Maharashtra state, where he had taken a short holiday. His family lives in Jamner town.
Prakash is a 39-year-old who left behind his parents, his wife, their two young children, a brother, and other family members. Kiran Shinde is a senior police inspector at Jamner police station. He said the shooting incident of Prakash happened at the victim’s home around 1:30 a.m.
According to Kiran, it is unclear why Sachin Tendulkar’s guard Prakash committed alleged suicide. He stated Prakash might have taken the drastic action of suicide for personal reasons based on their initial reports. However, they are awaiting a complete medical report for further investigation.
The Jamner Police have filed an accidental death report and sent the body of Prakash for an autopsy. Meanwhile, they conducted additional inquiries and spoke with his family, coworkers, and other friends.
Indian media sources claim that the SRPF is likely to conduct its separate investigation behind this suicide since it includes a member who works as VVIP security. Law enforcement officials may also investigate Sachin Tendulkar and his family about this alleged suicide of Prakash.
However, Sachin Tendulkar is recently part of Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He also gave Rohit Sharma a special jersey upon completing 200 matches with MI.
The son of Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun, is also part of the Mumbai Indians. But he has not played a game for MI since joining in 2021. Hardik Pandya is the captain of Mumbai Indians.
Sachin was an extraordinary cricketer with tremendous records in the world. He became the first and only cricketer to score 100 International centuries.
