PCB announced free entry for students for 2nd Bangladesh Test
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced a free entry for students for a second test match against Bangladesh at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. It is scheduled to take place from August 30 to September 3.
PCB released a statement to provide free entry to students. The organization stated it decided to bring students for free to watch the two teams play a thrilling cricket game.
However, it urged students to wear school uniforms and bring their educational identification cards. Otherwise, they can not have access to the stadium.
PCB further stated students can watch the live match from any VIP enclosures; including Imran Khan and Javed Miandad. Premium enclosures include Miran Baksh, Shoaib Akhtar, Sohail Tanvir, and Yasir Arafat. It will depend upon the availability of seats.
However, PCB did not allow free access for students in PCB Gallery or Platinum Box seating capacities. Earlier, the cricket board had announced free entry for cricket fans on the fourth and fifth days of the first Test match at the same venue.
Tickets for Pak vs Ban Test Match Series
In the meantime, fans can buy tickets for the second Test match either online at PCB.tcs.com.pk or from the physical ticket counter at Aviation Ground, Rawal Road outside Rescue 1122, or at designated TCS express centers.
Tickets for VIP enclosures will cost PKR 500 during the week and PKR 600 on weekends. However, premium enclosure tickets will cost PKR 200.
The cost of Gallery Pass is PKR 2,800 which includes tea and lunch. The cost of the Platinum Box is PKR 12,500 which also includes tea and lunch. Moreover, the Hospitality box will cost PKR 200,000.
However, Bangladesh defeated the hosts by 10 wickets in the first Test match, completed on August 26, 2024. It took the lead by 1-0 in the two-match Test series. This series is part of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25.
