Pakistan beat Turkmenistan to win Central Asian Volleyball League title
Pakistan beat Turkmenistan in four sets of a match to win the Central Asian Volleyball League (CAVL) title at Liaquat Gymnasium, Islamabad. They gave some points in the beginning part of the game, but Pakistan entirely dominated the first two sets of a match against Turkmenistan.
Turkmenistan also made a good comeback in the third match set with smashing throws of Bayramgeldi Veyisov. Moreover, other Turkmen players, Mekan Durdylyyev and skipper Didar, also helped their team to make a strong comeback in the third set.
Pakistani player Usman Faryad and Captain Mura Jehan made a big difference in the initial sets of the game. Zaheer also performed wonderfully. Pakistan took the lead when the score was 10-10. This lead changed the whole game scenario to one side.
Volleyball star Aimal Khan also played fantastically to give a tough time to Tukmen. The support of the crowd and the good performance of the Pakistan Volleyball team contributed towards the victory of the Central Volleyball League.
As a result, Pakistan emerged victorious in a thrilling match and beat Turkmenistan by sets 25-21, 25-19, 20-25, 25-14. Captain Murad Jehan told media reporters that the entire team played an incredible game. Hence, they managed to win courtesy of some powerful smashes and first-time blocking.

Ruben Wolochin is the head coach of the Pakistan Volleyball team. He was thrilled to see his team win the first championship under his leadership. He said boys had excellent volleyball skills and supported one another when it mattered most.
According to Ruben, Pakistan’s victory in the completion is very positive news before the Nations Cup and for other international events. He said they will fix some obvious flaws ahead of the the next international tournaments.
Ruben said Australia will arrive in Pakistan in ten days. Exposure to them would further help the the Pakistani team to make progress.
