Novak Djokovic beat Pierre-Hugues Herbert in French Open 2024
World Number One tennis player Novak Djokovic beat Pierre-Hugues Herbert in a thrilling first-round match at the French Open 2024. This match took place at Ronald Garros Stadium.
Novak won the first set by 6-4, showing his skill and determination during the match. However, his rival Pierre-Hugues fought hard in the second match set and put Novak to a tie-breaker. But, Novak remained resilient and won the second set by 7-6.
Pierre-Hugues continued to challenge Novak in the third set, but his experience prevailed, and he secured another set by 6-4. Hence, the World’s number one champion, Novak Djokovic, beat Pierre-Hugues Herbert by 3-0 in the French Open 2024.
However, it was a tough match for Pierre-Hugues to challenge the experienced champion. Pierre-Hughues was a comparatively inexperienced tennis player, having 142th rank.
It is significant to note that Novak is having his poorest season since 2018. So, he is eagerly waiting to secure his fourth championship in the French Open 2024.
Someone asked Novak to go into more detail about his problems this season, so far before the first round of the French Open. He responded by saying different things have happened in the last few months. But, he doesn’t want to talk about them. He doesn’t want to start a big mess. What happened is over.
Moreover, he said he is now in a grand slam setting. And he knows exactly what he needs to do. He has been through that 24 times.

Novak failed to win a title in the Australia Open 2024 final as world number second tennis player Jannik Sinner defeated him in the semifinals.
It was a historic match as Jannik became the first player to beat Novak Djokovic in the Australian Open semi-final. He beat Novak with an incredible series win with a s 6-1, 6-2, 6-7, 6-3 in Melbourne.
However, he also faced indignity in the recent season of Italian Opnen 2024 in Rome when someone accidentally hit his head with a metal water bottle. He suffered nausea and dizziness as a result of this.
