Haris Rauf fighting video with a fan went viral on social media
A fighting video of famous Pakistani cricketer Haris Rauf with a fan went viral on social media. Haris became bullied by a crazy cricket fan as the Pakistani Cricket team continues to face criticism for their disastrous World Cup 2024 loss.
Muzna Masood Malik, the wife of Haris Rauf, was also with him when this incident happened. When a fan passed condemnable remarks about Haris’s mother, the cricketer ran to react aggressively. Muzna seemed to stop him, but she failed. Although words exchanged between Haris and the fan are not clear.
The video footage of fast bowler Haris went viral online, showing him getting into a heated argument with a fan who insulted his mother. Haris responded aggressively to disrespectful remarks from fans. He seemed to run toward the fan to confront him.
Meanwhile, surrounding people stopped Haris but he approached the fan despite efforts to restrain him. He questioned the nationality of the fan before being informed that he was a Pakistani. After that, Haris shouted at him to learn some ethics and behave.
Following this incident, fighting video footage went viral, and Haris Rauf tweeted about it on social media. He wrote he decided not to bring it to social media but now that the video is public, he feels it is necessary to address the situation.
Haris stated they welcome all forms of fan feedback being public figures. Fans have the right to commend or condemn them. However, he will not think twice to respond appropriately regarding his parents and family. He also advised everyone to treat people respectfully regardless of their professions and families.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has condemned this incident and urged a relevant fan to apologize to Haris. Otherwise, it will take legal action against him.
This incident gained widespread attention and discouraged the harassment of athletes and their families in their personal lives. Several public representatives, including PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and Defense Minister Khwaja Asif, have supported Haris Rauf and condemned the behavior of a fan.
