Former NRL player Terry Hill died at the age of 52, netizens mourn

Former National Rugby League (NRL) player Vale Terry Hill died at the age of 52 years. He was a legendary member of the New South Wales State of Origin.

He played wonderfully for five Sydney clubs from the end of the old NSWRL (New South Wales Rugby League) to the start of the new NRL. Peter V. Landys is chairman of the Australian Rugby League Commission. He mourned the death of Terry Hill.

Peter stated Terry Hill was a brilliant football player. He said Terry was not just one of the greatest players in the game’s history but he was one of its most well-liked players too. He was also a huge personality whom all players adored who played with him over his long career in the top grade.

According to the Manly Sea Warringah Eagles, former NRL player Terry Hill died due to a heart attack in the Phillipines. Terry played with Manly between 1994 to 1999 where he had his most prosperous playing career.

Terry Hill played for the Blues (Carlton Football Club) 14 times and the Kangaroos (North Melbourne Football Club) in nine matches before NRL winning the World Cup in 1995.

Chief executive of Manly, Tony Mestrov said Terry was much loved. He was a respected player not at Manly Sea only but across rugby league where he played for several clubs.

Tony stated they extend their sincere condolences to Terry’s family and friends during this difficult time on behalf of the whole Manly team. They will always remember Terry with love and affection.

Head coach of the Bradford Bulls and former professional rugby league footballer, Geoff Toovey recalled Terry as a good friend. He said Terry did a lot of good things for his teammates. He also expressed his deepest sympathies to his family.
