Pakistani top javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem will compete for a gold medal at the Athletics Javelin Throw finals in the Olympics Paris 2024. He is the only hope for Pakistan to secure a gold medal at the Olympics.

He qualified for the finals with his amazing throw of 86.59 meters on August 6, 2024. Neeraj Chopra, an Indian javelin thrower also advanced to the finals with the best throw of 89.34 meters.

After a first effort of 86.59 meters, Anderson Peters of Grenade qualified for the finals alongside his South Asian rivals including India and Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Pakistani hero Arshad Nadeem has asked supporters to pray for him in the men’s javelin throw a final round of the Paris Olympics 2024 in a video message.

He also thanked his Pakistani fans for supporting him throughout the tournament. He said the prayers of his nation’s people have brought him to the Paris Olympics 2024 final.

Moreover, Babar Azam, the captain of the Pakistan cricket team, made a video wishing Arshad Nadeem good luck and supporting him in winning an Olympic gold medal for Pakistan.

However, Arshad Nadeem will compete in the Javelin throw finals at the iconic Stade de France in Paris. The finals will happen among four athletes including Anderson Peters, Neeraj Chopra, Julian Weber, and Arshad Nadeem.

This event will start at 11:25 p.m. (Pakistan Standard Time) tonight. Arshad is an independent athlete with historical and remarkable performances. He won a silver medal at the 2023 World Championship and the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Arshad also won a gold medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. He became the first Pakistani participant to achieve this since 1962. It is significant to note Pakistan won a gold medal last time at the 1992 Olympics.
