The wife of Guy Whittall, Hannah Stooks-Whittall verified this incident on Facebook. She shared photos of her 51-year-old husband covered in blood following the attack.
Hannah stated although Guy Whittall lost a lot of blood. Things may have turned out much worse if his devoted Chikara had not interfered who made every effort to save her husband.
She attributed Chikara saying what a unique boy. Chikara is coming up tomorrow to the vet after a leopard bit him and getting the cat off Guy.
Hannah stated she and her husband felt overwhelmed by the hundreds of well-wishers after the wounded incident. It is incredibly lucky for them that the excellent team at Hippo Clinic stabilized him.

This incident happened after almost eleven years when Guy Whittall awoke to find an eight-foot-tall, 165-kg Nile crocodile sleeping directly under his bed.
Survived ex-Zimbabwe cricketer Guy Whittall represented the Zimbabwe Cricket team in 46 tests and 147 ODIs between 1993 and 2003. His greatest cricketing memory dates back to 1995, when Guy Whittall hit a century to lead the Zimbabwe Cricket Team to their historic triumph over Pakistan in Harare.
It was the same match in which Zimbabwe won by an outstanding inning. However, the giant scores of Zimbabwe cricketers Andy Flower and Grant Flower made Guy’s innings less important. Andy made 156 runs while Grant scored 201 runs.
