Google Ads launched Brand Recommendations powered by AI
Google Ads launched a new “Brand Recommendations” powered by AI on its Recommendations page. These brand recommendations include cost-per-thousand (CPM) and cost-per-view (CPV) bidding for awareness and consideration campaigns.
By providing advertisers with a “full funnel” of optimization options, they enhance the current recommendations for cost-per-action campaigns.
These automated, insightful recommendations may offer brand advertisers consistently a simple way to access Google’s most recent best practices. It is helpful for advertisers who want to stay ahead of the competition.
Brand Recommendations examine past Google Ads activity of an advertiser, campaign setups, and industry trends to automatically identify ways to enhance the performance and effectiveness of brand campaigns.
Google Ads launched Brand Recommendations into five major categories:
- Advertisements and assets (e.g. bumper advertisements, appropriate video aspect ratios)
- Adjust CMP/CPV bids and budgets for campaigns that have already taken off
- Keywords and targeting (such as choosing to exclude contextual targeting or expand your audience)
- Measurement (Click the YouTube account link for additional reporting)
- Full-funnel prospects (such as funnel up to a marketing campaign)
Every advertiser usually receives a unique set of recommendations and updates when Google’s system finds new chances for optimization.
Google stated in its statement that adopting “Brand Recommendations” is part of a best practice to maximize the chances of brand campaign success.
In short, the new “Brand Recommendations” with the help of Google’s artificial intelligence (AI) assess advertiser’s unique circumstances and offer relevant suggestions for improving their brand marketing on Google domains.
