The tech entrepreneur Elon Musk to meet Israeli leaders amid antisemitism accusations on X formerly known as Twitter. He will meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin and Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu today.
Elon has accusations of rising anti-Jewish sentiment by civil rights groups on his social media platform X. Afterward, he decided to visit Israeli leaders as well as Israelis whose relatives are held by a militant Palestinian group, Hamas.
On Sunday night, the Israeli presidential office confirmed the meeting saying the president will emphasize the need to act to combat rising antisemitism online with a tech billionaire.
The visit of Elon comes with a four-day cease-fire in Israel’s war with Hamas during which approximately 58 out of the 240 hostages held by Hamas have been released.
According to recent media reports, Elon Musk has landed in Tel Aviv which is the capital of Israel. According to the Israeli government, Prime Minister Benjamin has taken Elon with him on the tour of Kibbutz Kfar. He wanted to show the deterioration that took place in the Kibbutz by Hamas on October 7, 2023.

Before this meeting, Israeli PM Benjamin met Elon in California on September 18, 2023, after weeks of criticism over antisemitic content on X. Benjamin asked Elon to strike a balance between safeguarding freedom of speech and hate speech.
Elon responded saying he opposed the antisemitism and anything that promotes hate and conflict. He confirmed that X will not promote hate speech.
But recently Elon has received extreme criticism over his endorsement of an anti-semitic tweet on November 15, 2023, on X. There was an anti-Jewish tweet claiming that Jews were inciting hatred against white people.
