Tirah terror attack: 3 Pakistani soldiers among 7 killed in Khyber
Three brave Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom in a brutal clash between security forces and terrorists in a terror attack in Tirah Valley, Khyber District.
Havaldar Inam Gul, Sepoy Muhammad Imran, and Sepoy Iltaf Khan are three martyred Pakistani soldiers. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), they bravely fought against terrorists, sacrificing their lives in the line of duty.
Havaldar Inam Gul was a 37-year-old resident of Mianwali who spent 15 years and 6 months serving his country. Sepoy Muhammad Imran, 29 years old, was natively from Tank and served for nine years in the armed forces.
However, Sepoy Muhammad Altaf Khan, a 22-year-old, was a resident of Mardan who served for two years in the military. ISPR stated their deaths will not have been in vain as others will get inspiration to fight terrorism from the memories and sacrifices of martyrs.
The martyrs also successfully killed four terrorists during the operation conducted in three separate locations in Tirah Valley. But the soldiers lost their lives in a fierce gunfire exchange between them and terrorists.
Moreover, ISPR revealed that security forces are carrying out a complete cleanse operation to get rid of any remaining terrorists in the area.
The recent terror attack in Tirah Valley has strengthened the determination of security services to eliminate terrorism from the area.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Information condemned the terror attack in Tirah Valley on behalf of President Asif Ali Zardari. He expressed condolences to the families of martyrs. He also appreciated the efforts of armed forces to remove terrorists from the territory.
In a separate incident, soldiers of the Pakistan Army foiled a terror attack on a security post in the Mir Ali area. Terrorists attempted to enter the post while riding an explosive-filled vehicle and carried out several bomb attacks.
However, security officials stopped them by directly countering them in a military operation. It resulted in the martyrdom of seven security officials including Lieutenant Colonel Syed Kashif.
