Terrorists attacked Pakistan’s second-largest naval base in Turbat
A group of terrorists attacked Pakistan’s second-largest naval base, PNS Siddique, in Turbat city of Balochistan. Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has confirmed this attack.
According to ISPR, terrorists attacked Pakistan’s second-largest naval base on the nights of March 25 and March 26. Meanwhile, soldiers responded quickly and effectively ensuring the safety and security of persons and assets.
The military forces’ coordinated and effective response enabled the killing of all four terrorists during a joint clearance operation. ISPR also stated that security forces in the close area were immediately mobilized to support the naval troops.
In the aftermath of the incident, a 24-year-old soldier, Sepoy Noman Fareed accepted martyrdom after bravely resisting terrorists. He was a Muzaffargarh local serving in the Balochistan Frontier Corps.
ISPR stated a cleansing operation is being carried out to remove any other terrorists found in the area. Pakistan’s armed forces are committed to eliminating the threat of terrorism from the country at all costs.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif has praised the efforts of security soldiers for stopping a terrorist attempt. He said terrorists were sent to hell as a result of the quick and effective response of security services.

PM Shehbaz Sharif also said security services saved the country from significant damage. He said the Pakistani nation stands with their brave security forces and pays tribute to them. Moreover, he emphasized his determination to eliminate the threat of terrorism from the country.
The attack came about a week after a group of gunmen invaded Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) compound. However, security forces responded quickly and prevented the fierce attack.
According to ISPR, security forces killed all eight terrorists during a fierce firefight exchange with terrorists. They also recovered several weapons, firearms, and explosives from the vicinity of terrorists.
