Terrorists attacked Japanese nationals in a suicide blast in Karachi
Two terrorists attacked a vehicle carrying five Japanese nationals in a suicide blast in the Landhi area of Karachi, Pakistan. The suicide blast happened close to the Manshera Colony stop when two suicide bombers targeted the vehicle of Japanese nationals.
Authorities claim that the attack was directed against the vehicle of foreign nationals. According to a statement from the Sindh Inspector General of Police, there were five Japanese were in a convoy when a suicide blast occurred. However, they all remained safe.
Police spokesperson Abrar Hussain Baloch stated that they had taken Japanese survivors to a secure location within police custody. The incident happened as the convoy passed through the police station premises in Malir Sharafi Goth.
Witnesses said they heard gunfire after hearing a huge explosion. Police and rescue personnel soon arrived on the site and took the injured to Jinnah Hospital for medical attention.
Meanwhile, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned the terror attack on Japanese nationals. They have directed law enforcement officials to conduct a thorough inquiry about it. They also wished for quick recovery of the injured while committing terrorism elimination from the country.

A total of three people were injured including two security guards and a police person while protecting Japanese nationals. The injured guards are 45-year-old Noor Muhammad and Langar Khan. Noor Muhammad later died in hospital due to critical injuries.
However, both terrorists who attacked Japanese nationals died. One of them died instantly at the scene and was recognized as a suicide bomber. However, the second terrorist died due to gunshots from police. Their ages were 30 and 35 years old.
A police spokesperson told law enforcement officials quickly intervened when they heard explosions. One terrorist had grenades and riffles and opened fire upon seeing police officers. A brief gunfire exchange happened between them until a terrorist died.
The terrorists targeted a Japanese convoy including two vehicles. A company managing director was in one car and four other Japanese nations were in a van.
However, authorities are currently investigating this terror attack to determine the motives behind it and identify any potential collaborators. No one has claimed responsibility for this attack yet.
