Rawalpindi man arrested for raping 8-year-old girl
Police have arrested a man named Zaheer on suspicion of raping an 8-year-old girl in the district of Gujra Khan, Rawalpindi. His arrest came after police filed an FIR against Zaheer following a complaint from the victim girl’s father.
According to the complainant, Zaheer led her daughter to a warehouse room where he sexually assaulted her. The police officer informed media reporters victim girl underwent a proper medical examination which showed strong evidence of Zaheer raping her.
He intended to present this evidence in court along with a complaint. He vowed that they would not accept harassment and violence against women and children under any circumstances.
In a separate incident, a special anti-terrorism (ATC) court had sentenced four people to death the day before in a case involving the kidnapping, rape, and murder of two small children.
Anti-Terrorism Complex in Karachi Central Jail announced this verdict for this case on charges of murder and rape. The suspects committed these horrible crimes in exchange for money based on the investigation by prosecutors.
Following this, the court ordered the fourth accused to pay PKR 2 million to relatives of victims and sentenced them to life imprisonment on charges of rape. Hence, the court fined each suspect a fine of PKR 50,000.

Wasim, Ramzan, Imran, and Qurban are among the accused people. Moreover, another accused suspect named Raju is on the run. ATC court has issued permanent warrants for his arrest.
In another incident, police arrested a 50-year-old man for raping an 8-year-old girl in Ratta Amral area, Rawalpindi. The victim girl was rushed to hospital after this rape incident.
The suspect was Akram or Ramu. SP Rawalpindi took notice of this incident and directed DSP Rawalpindi to visit the hospital where the victim girl was to proceed case against Ramu.
