IPSOS Pakistan’s Consumer Confidence Survey 2023 Released

IPSOS Pakistan’s Consumer Confidence Survey 2023 released showing 95% of people of Pakistan are afraid to lose their jobs. Five percent of the people are confident about their jobs.

Key Points of ISPOS’s Survey:

ISPOS Pakistan released a detailed report on the views of Pakistanis about the current economic condition of Pakistan where 94% of the people believe that the country is heading in the wrong direction. “This is the highest negative sentiment since we started consumer survey in Pakistan,” ISPOS Pakistan says.

Pakistan has been facing a lot of economic crisis for two years and the data of ISPOS Pakistan says that a 21% increase in the inflation is biggest issue for Pakistanis.

With the struggling economy of Pakistan, most of the Pakistani states that the economy of Pakistan rises 41% to 61% in the indicator of “Weakness”.

While everyone hopes for the betterment of the country. ISPOS Pakistan’s survey states that 7 in 10 people don’t expect the economy to get better in 6 months. 13% of the people hope for the betterment of the country while 17% are not sure about anything.

While most Pakistanis are in hope for no good, there are some who expect the country to get better in the next 6 months. 22% of people expect the country to get better in the next 6 months.

Pakistanis with less to no hope come with a little positive feedback when asking the question “Compared to 1 year ago, are you NOW more or less confident to invest in the future, including your ability to save money for your retirement or your children’s education?”. Slight increase in Pakistanis’ confidence about their ability to invest in the future, ISPOS survey states.
