Forbes named 7 influential Pakistanis in the 30 Under 30 Asia 2024 list
Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Asia 2024 named 7 influential Pakistanis, including Bushra Sultan, Aleena Nadeem, and Kasra Zunnaiyyer. Entrepreneurs Kasra Zunnaiyyer and Sarkhail Bawany have their names also on this list. Following are seven Pakistanis on the 30 Under 30 Asia 2024 list:
Bushra Sultan
Bushra Sultan is a creative director and cinematographer. Forbes listed her in the Arts Category. She lives in Lahore and has received recognition for opposing the restrictions on women in Pakistan.
Bushra has worked with well-known organizations, including Xiaomi Pakistan and the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Aleena Nadeem
Aleena Nadeem is an MIT (The Massachusetts Institute of Technology) graduate. She founded Lahore-based education business EduFi.
EduFi enables students to pay their tuition fees monthly rather than all at once at the beginning of the semester. It launched a $6.1 million initial funding in November. It was the largest funding in Pakistan’s startup history.
Sarkhail Bawany
Sarkhil runs the fintech company Abhi (now). Abhi Employees may take out a part of their salary early from the company in case of an emergency. Abhi collaborates with other companies to provide its services to their staff members.
The company has opened branches in Bangladesh and the Middle East. It released $6.8 million in Islamic bonds in May 2023. It came after issuing a $17 million Series Bond A in 2022.
Kasra Zunnaiyyer
Forbes has also named Kasra Zunnaiyyer among 7 influential Pakistanis. Kasra has his name in the Enterprise Technology category. He is co-founder of Trukkr, a Karachi-based firm that solves the nation’s logistical management problem.
According to Forbes, this startup has drawn interest from outside investors since it is the first digital solution aimed at small and medium-sized trucking companies.
The company raised $6.4 million in 2023 in initial funding led by London-based Sturgeon Capital and Washington-based Accion Venture Lab.

Abid, Nayyer, and Raza
Adeel Abid, Aizaz Nayyer, and Ali Raza are three co-founders of the website Linkstar. It offers freelancer jobs and online courses for education. It also provides a free portfolio creation tool.
Linkstar creators announced in 2023 that they had purchased the career marketplace Oliv, based in Dubai. Oliv helps employees find interns recent graduates and part-timers for internships and post-graduation jobs.
The Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2024 list includes influential people from different fields including entertainment, technology, education, healthcare, and entrepreneurship.
The names of the above seven Pakistanis from different fields show the potential of Pakistan in diverse fields. We hope to see more emerging talents from our nation to be recognized on International and national levels.
