FIR filed against woman for threatening and abusing Motorway police
Motorway Police filed an FIR against a woman for allegedly threatening and abusing motorway police officers near Kalar Kahar over a traffic check. A viral video emerged on social media yesterday portraying a video of two ladies acting aggressively towards police officers.
This incident video clip showed a heated argument between motorway police officers and a woman driver. Both parties seemed to accuse each other of wrongdoing.
The police officer appeared to say in the video the woman driver stopped the car in the middle of the highway when they stopped her for high speed. Moreover, another woman ally of the female driver started making videos of motorway cops.
Meanwhile, the alleged female driver appeared to be very aggressive. She accused motorway police officers of harassing and injuring her while snatching her mobile phone. She also claimed motorway police officers asked her for a bribe.
However, the motorway police sub-inspector filed a complaint leading to an FIR registration against a woman driver. According to FIR, the woman began threatening the officers when they stopped her for exceeding the speed limit of 80 km/h.
The FIR stated that the alleged woman also filmed the officers in uniform without their permission, interfering in State affairs. She accused motorway police officers of harassing her instead of presenting any documentation.
However, it is significant to note that the information in this article is only based on accusations and claims of both alleged parties.
Previously Rawalpindi police arrested a woman from Islamabad last week for running over a Motorway police officer. It happened when a relevant police cop named Sabir stopped a female driver upon speeding up the car.
Her arrest came after a widely shared video demanding to capture her for misbehaving and harming Sabir. Due to the violent action of the woman, Sabir sustained injuries. Hence, motorway authorities shifted to the hospital for immediate medical care. This incident happened on January 2, 2024.
