Father of two daughters committed suicide in Karachi
A man named Hizbullah who was the father of two daughters committed suicide at his residence in Mir Muhammad Goth, Karachi. This tragic incident happened in the area of Mangophir police station.
Following this incident, rescue personnel and police sifted Hizbullah to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. He passed away on the way to the hospital.
According to an early police investigative report, Hizbullah shot himself in the head and suffered serious injuries. The deceased used to drive a hired rickshaw.
The deceased man’s family members revealed to police he came from Waziristan. He migrated to Karachi in 2006 with his kids. Hizbullah also worked as a laborer but could not support his family because of the high inflation rate.
Following the high inflation, the burdened father of two daughters committed suicide. He became extremely anxious for the previous three days due to the lack of food and money at home. He went silent and naive.
The deceased’s father appealed to the rulers to consider the poor workers and laborers’ circumstances and economic conditions. People are in stress due to high inflation.
He emphasized what happened to his son, should not happen to anyone else. The deceased was a 28-year-old man.
Meanwhile, the Sacchai police in Saddi Town reported that they had taken into custody a wounded suspect. It came when two motorcycle riders attempted to get away after police gave them the signal to stop.
They started shooting as the police pursued them. Authorities arrested one of the suspects who was injured during the subsequent gunfight.
They identified him as Ateequllah. Moreover, police reported that they found a stolen motorcycle and firearm in his hands. However, another suspect succeeded in escaping.
We commonly observe the criminal and inflation-hit suicide cases in the biggest populous city of Pakistan, Karachi. The government needs to improve the social and financial security of the common people in Karachi and the entire country.
