Dubai leaks reveal PML-N, PTI, and PPP politician’s properties in UAE
A shocking new report on Dubai leaks reveals the properties of three major political parties, PML-N, PPP, and PTI’s politicians among 1,700 Pakistanis. Pervaiz Musharraf served as former army chief and president of Pakistan, while Asif Ali Zardari is the current president of Pakistan.
Several politician’s and military officers’ names are also present in this report. This report shows that the real estate market of Dubai is a hub for the dirty or black money of the world.
The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) revealed this report on May 14, 2024. This report came as part of OCCRP’s Project named “Dubai Unlocked.”
The report is titled “How Dirty Money Finds a Home in Dubai Real Estate.” Hence, it goes into great depth about how Dubai became a haven for black money from the world.
However, journalists from 74 groups in 58 other countries worked on this report over six months. According to this report, Pakistanis hold the second-highest number of properties in Dubai, with a total value of $11 billion.
1,700 Pakistanis own 23,000 different properties in Dubai. Dubai leaks report shows one property owned by Pervaiz Musharraf and two properties by Asif Zardari and his three children.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s wife, Hussain Nawaz Sharif, Sharjeel Memon, and his family members, Senator Faisal Vawda, are among the well-known property owners in the Dubai leaks report. Former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, Farahi Gogi, and Sher Afzal Marwat have also their names in Dubai leaks.

Moreover, several other MPAs and MNAs with dozens of retired army officials have their names in the report. Many bureaucrats, police chiefs, and diplomats names are present who have indirectly or directly owned properties in Dubai real estate.
Retired Major Gen Ausaf Ali and Maj Gen Raja Arif Nazir are also among leaked ex-army officials who own properties. Chief Financial Officer of Omni Group Aslam Masood and his wife also purchased several properties in Dubai.
The report also includes assets of Obaid Khanani in Dubai real estate. The United States sanctioned Obaid in 2016 with his father for allegedly directing a money laundering organization that transported billions of dollars throughout the world on behalf of organized crime and drug traffickers.
