CM Gandapur restored Health Card facility in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
KP Chief Minister (CM) Ali Amin Gandapur has restored the health care card facility named “Sehat Card Plus” in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. People of KP residents will be able to get free medical treatment through Sehat Card Plus at the beginning of Ramadan.
Sehat Card Plus KP is a free micro-health Insurance Programme for all the citizens of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. You must fulfill the following terms and conditions to avail of the Health Card facility restored by CM Gandapur:
- All citizens of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are eligible for free
- Permanent residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa registered with NADRA
KP government is implementing this program through an Insurance company that will facilitate more than 7.2 million families in KP. Residents of KP will be able to avail free medical treatment in Private and Government hospitals of KP through Sehat Card Plus.
How to apply for Sehat Card Plus?
To check your eligibility criteria for Sehat Card Plus, send your CNIC number to 9780. You will receive all information regarding your eligibility and medical treatment.
Amount of Sehat Card Plus
A family can use Rs. 400,000 for primary health services and Rs. 200,000 for secondary health services like surgeries and treatments. It includes:
- Accident and emergency
- Diabetes and Kidney diseases (dialysis and kidney transplant)
- Hepatitis B and C
- All types of cancers
- Heart & Vascular diseases

CM Gandapur stated maintaining peace and health in the province was his government’s primary concern. Moreover, he announced to give Rs.10,000 in cash to approximately 850,000 deserving persons based on statistics from the Ehsas Program.
An additional Rs. 10,000 will be distributed to an additional 150,000 persons from all provincial constituencies. He also emphasized the functional establishment of “Langar Khanay” and declared the province administration would organize “Sehri” and “Iftari” meals in hospitals to help patient attendants.
Furthermore, CM Gandapur said youth would receive skills training for job creation and financial assistance through grants and interest-free loans to help them start their enterprises.
