YSRC Party youth secretary Rasheed brutally murdered by TDP worker

TDP Party worker Sheikh Jilani brutally murdered YSRC Party member and youth secretary Sheikh Rasheed in Andhra Pradesh. This tragic incident happened on July 17, 2024 night in the Palnadu district of Andhra Pradesh.

TDP (Telugu Desam Party) is the ruling party in Andra Pradesh while YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) is the main party in the state. Rasheed was on his way back home when Jilani attacked him at the crowded Mandlamudi Bus Stand Center.

Jilani used a sharp knife to cut both hands of Rasheed and his throat. This brutal scene was captured in a video, that went viral on social media. It sent shockwaves to the people of India.

Following this incident, eyewitnesses called police. Hence, police rushed to the crime scene after getting information and shifted the injured Rasheed to the hospital. But Rasheed could not survive his critical wounds and died of fatal injuries.

The YSRCP condemned the horrible murder of Rasheed on Twitter X. It stated a TDP goon and a humanoid monster brutally murdered its activist in Palnadu. Its worker Rasheed unfortunately died in hospital due to critical injuries.

Moreover, YSRC Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed shock over the murder of Rasheed. He questioned law and order in the state. He also accused TDP of committing such crimes to oppress his party.

Meanwhile, Palnadu district Superintendent of Police (SP) Kanchi Srinivasa Rao dismissed suspicions that political reasons were behind this brutal murder.

According to SP Kanchi, the reason behind Jilani’s brutally murdered YSRC Party youth secretary Rasheed was personal enmity between both. Moreover, they have initiated a thorough investigation to gain more details about the crime.

Palnadu police have also arrested Jilani for committing a horrible crime. They also imposed Section 144 in town to prevent additional bloodshed in the aftermath of Rasheed’s murder.

Hence, people who violate the regulations and attempt to cause more violence would face severe consequences. The murder of Rasheed has caused widespread outrage among YSRCP.
