Vijay Raaz claimed filmmakers fired him from film for not greeting Ajay Devgan
Indian actor Vijay Raaz claimed filmmakers fired him from the film “Son of Sardar 2” for not greeting Ajay Devgan. His claim came after the film’s production team reportedly asked him to leave on the very first day of shooting.
Son of Sardar 2 is the sequel to the 2012 film “Son of Sardar” where Ajay Devgan played the main role as a hero. Its shooting started in the UK with lead actors Ajay and Mrunal with Chunky Pandey, Deepak Dobriyal, and Vindu Dara Singh.
It is significant to note that Vijay is the third actor to not proceed with film shooting after Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt. Sanjay Misra took a role in place of Vijay Raaz.
However, the production team denied Vijay’s claims and said they removed him due to his misconduct. They claimed that Vijay made unreasonable demands during shooting and he was becoming thought to work with.
Film co-producer Kumar Mangat Pathak confirmed the removal of Vijay from the sequel shooting. He stated it was right they had removed Vijay Raaz from the film because of his behavior on the movie sets.
Kumar said Vijay insisted on larger rooms and a vanity van. They were overcharged for the spot boys. Since the UK is an expensive country, everyone received normal lodgings throughout the film shooting.
However, Vijay insisted on getting a premium suite. He also spoke harsh words and refused to understand when they tried to explain the cost issue to him.
According to Kumar, they made every effort to satisfy all of his requests even though his behavior just grew worse. On the other hand, Vijay Raaz denied misconduct claims.
Vijay Raaz claimed filmmakers fired him because he neglected to welcome lead actor Ajay Devgan. He arrived at the venue ahead of schedule for the trial.
When he arrived at the shooting van, Ravi Krishan came to greet him. Ashish and producer Kumar Mangat with director Vijay Arora also came to meet him.
Afterward, he came out of the van and found Ajay 25 meters away. So, he did not go there to greet him because he seemed busy. Instead, he continued talking with his friends.
Vijay claimed producer Kumar came to him after 25 minutes and said they were dropping him from the film. Hence, the only misconduct he did was not greeting Ajay.
