Hailey Merkt, a contestant on the reality show “The Bachelor” Season 21, died at 31 after suffering from a long illness. The Bachelor is an American reality television show in which a bachelor dates a group of women.
Participant women in the show compete in a task series over weeks to prove their compatibility with a bachelor. An Instagram page of Hailey posted death news of her.
However, Hailey was suffering from cancer. She received her diagnosis in 2017 of blood cell cancer. She had been transparent about her struggle with cancer on social media.
An Instagram post on Hailey’s page stated their beautiful Hailey passed away after a courageous battle for her life. They share her death news with broken hearts.
According to the post, Hailey showed incredible bravery, elegance, and selflessness throughout her life journey. She also lived fully in the present moment and was always hilariously funny.
It also expressed gratitude to everyone who had helped Hailey along the way and invited her fans to recall their best moments with her.
The deceased friend and another contestant of The Bachelor Season 21, Danielle Maltby expressed condolences that Hailey Merkt died. Danielle paid tribute to her.

Danielle said it was lucky to know Hailey’s laugh and was grateful to meet her. She loved the realest, warmest, most beautiful soul of Hailey in the weirdest of places. She also prayed for her eternal peace.
The Bachelor’s Season 21 runner-up, Raven Gates stated she is devastated to learn about the death of Hailey. She was really hoping Hailey would get well. Hailey, rest easy. They will always remember Hailey.
