Race 4 returns with Saif Ali Khan in lead role in action thriller

Bollywood’s much-awaited action thriller and Race franchise reportedly returns with Saif Ali Khan in the lead role in its 4 part. The franchise is ready for a remake following the mediocre response of Race 3 which starred Salman Khan.

Race 3 could not match the charm of its previous versions including Race 2 and Race 1. Saif Ali Khan who starred in the first two Race movies, is returning.

However, this movie will follow a different path under the direction of a new director. Producer Ramesh Taurani will lead Race 4 titled “Race Reboot.” Hence, Saif has consented to rejoin the suspenseful world of Race.

Race 4 shooting will begin in the first quarter of 2025. While Race 4 returns with Saif Ali Khan as a nostalgic turn for the franchise, its original directors will not be part of it.

Abbas and Mustan are the original directors of the Race franchise but will not direct it for the latest part. Filmmakers want to bring a fresh directorial perspective to Race 4.

Director Remo D’Souza earlier directed Race 3 which failed to live up to high standards set by previous versions. The creative team behind Race 4 is now working on a screenplay. They have already made a basic story.

There are no other cast details apart from Saif Ali Khan. Race franchise series have remained in the spotlight among the public due to their stylish action sequences and complex plots.

The absence of Saif in Race 3 was noticeable and now his return is expected to bring back the essence that made the franchise famous. Race 1 is the most successful franchise which revolves around two brothers, Ranvir and Rajiv Singh.

Suspense outbroke as Ranvir had plotted everything to get back at Rajiv and Sonia. The first part ends with intense action and dramatic twists in a suspense thriller.
