Kangana Ranaut to contest elections on the ticket of BJP party
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is preparing to contest the Lok Sabha elections 2024 on the ticket of the BJP party. BJP refers to Bharatiya Janata Party ticket.
The actress will run in the upcoming elections from Mandi town in Himachal Pradesh state. BJP released the fifth list of candidates which included the name Kangana Ranaut.
Soon after the BJP’s list, Kangana Ranaut expressed gratitude stating she was honored to contest Lok Sabha elections officially. She wrote on X Twitter that her beloved Bharat and Bharatiya Janata Party ticket has always had her unconditional support.
Furthermore, she wrote the national leadership of BJP has announced her as their Lok Sabha candidate from her birthplace Himachal Pradesh, Mandi (constituency) today. She obeys the high command’s decision to contest the Lok Sabha elections.
Kangana stated she felt honored and excited to join the party officially. She also aspires to be a worthy karyakarta (worker) and a dependable public servant. Thank You!
Meanwhile, an old tweet from the actress is getting viral in which she claimed she would never contest from Himachal Pradesh. In March 2021, Kangana tweeted she had the option of Gwalior during the 2019 elections.
At that time, she wrote the population of Himachal Pradesh was only 60/70 lakh. There is no poverty or crime. If she gets into politics, she wants a state with complexities that she can work on while also being Queen in the field. Small fry like you would not understand serious discussions.

Kangana is a staunch supporter of the ruling party BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Hence, she has never felt shy from supporting the political party BJP and expressing her views on several political issues over several years.
She has repeatedly hinted that she may enter politics shortly. In an interview with Indian news channel TV9 Bharatvarsh, she stated it was the right time to enter politics last month.
