FireHouse Singer CJ Snare died at the age of 64

The founder and singer of the long-running music band “FireHouse”, Carl Jeffrey Snare, or CJ Snare died at the age of 64 years. The popular music band FireHouse shared the news that Singer CJ Snare died on their Facebook page.

FireHouse wrote today is a sad day for rock and roll. They inform the world with deep sadness that they have lost their brother: CJ Snare. He was a roll and rock warrior, lead vocalist, and founding member of Firehouse. The young 64-year-old died unexpectedly on April 5, 2024 night.

FireHouse also wrote CJ was supposed to be back on stage with the band this summer after his surgery as you all know. The sudden death of CJ has shocked us all to the core. He was one of the best singers of his time. He has been touring the world with FireHouse nonstop for 14 years.

However, the cause of his sudden death is unknown. But he passed away after six months when he announced he would undergo abdominal surgery. The band first postponed their shows but later on, replaced CJ Snare with another singer till his recovery.

CJ Snare posted about a week ago on social media giving hints about his coming back into the band. He wrote he would be back on stage soon with FireHouse. Health comes first, so he is getting better before he goes back.

There are also some media reports that CJ Snare passed away due to cardiac arrest after fighting a long cancer colon battle. CJ founded FireHouse in the mid-1980s and hit the music industry with their self-debuted album in 1990.

The singles “Don’t Treat Me Bad” and “Love of a Lifetime” grabbed anthems countrywide. “Don’t Treat Me Bad” has been played on the John Cena superhero show Peacemaker in recent years. However, people have viewed “Love of a Lifetime” over 88 million times on YouTube.
